Important Announcement due to COVID-19 Pandemic

Currently, the world is struggling against the pandemic COVID-19. i-MAMM 2020 committee takes the utmost care of our valuable speakers and authors. Multiple precaution measures have been taken by the committee to prevent spreading the mentioned virus among the public.

Therefore, we have rescheduled the conference to 16 – 17 November 2020 and change the oral presentation method into Online Presentation.

Metallurgy & Materials Engineering is an emerging and challenging field of study, which has provoked and contributed to the innovation and development of various engineering technology such as nanomaterials, biomaterials, electronic materials, ceramics, glasses, polymers, composites, metal alloys, smart materials, and many others. Researches in the field of processing metallurgy such as extractive metallurgy and mineral processing are urgently required due to the environmental issue. Additionally, knowledge sharing on the progress on metal manufacturing process, metal degradation and protection are very valuable to retain the material’s performance.

To accommodate this rapid development, Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Universitas Indonesia is presenting its first international conference called International Meeting on Advances in Metallurgy and Materials (i-MAMM 2020). The conference will be held in Depok, Jawa Barat, Indonesia on 5th – 6th October 2020. by online presentation on 16th – 17th November 2020.

In conjunction with this international conference is national seminar entitled Seminar Nasional Metalurgi & Material (SENAMM XIII) which held annually by national organization on metallurgy and materials engineering education (Badan Kerja Sama Pendidikan Metalurgi dan Material).

The conferences will bring opportunity to meet together all researcher, scientist, scholars, industry representatives, postdoctoral fellows, and students around the world to share their knowledge and research expertise, to discuss in the area of materials and the development of materials technology, as well as creating a prospective collaboration and networking on various areas of materials science and technology. Both i-MAMM 2020 and SENAMM XIII aim to generate new investigations and collaboration between all components in this field for future research and projects.
