2018 International Conference on Engineering, Technologies, and Applied Sciences (ICETsAS 2018)

 

On behalf of Faculty of Engineering, University of Lampung (UNILA) – Indonesia and Cooperation Agency – Public Universities in Indonesia (BKS PTN) in West Region of Indonesia for Engineering Section, we are delighted to announce that in this year of 2018 the Faculty of Engineering, UNILA is going to host the 2018 International Conference on Engineering, Technologies, and Applied Sciences (ICETsAS 2018). This conference is the second conference that is supported by BKS PTN in West Region of Indonesia for Engineering Section and the conference will be held in conjunction with Annual Meeting of BKS PTN in West Region of Indonesia for Engineering Section.

The conference theme for this year is “Welcoming the 4th Industrial Revolution through innovative and creative research and development in Engineering, Technologies and Applied Science”. The conference covers a wide area of topics of interests in Engineering, Technologies and Applied Sciences.

In addition, in conjunction with ICETsAS 2018 we also have an international workshop in Global Smart City which is a part of BLESS U research activities. BLESS U research is a joint funded project by British Council and Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (KEMENRISTEKDIKTI) of Indonesia. Call for papers for this workshop is issued separately.

The organising committee of ICETsAS is delighted to invite researchers, practitioners and decision makers from academia, industries, and government to submit their excellent works whether it is their completed or on-going works for oral presentations or for poster presentations.

All submitted manuscripts are double blind peer reviewed and all accepted and presented manuscripts will be submitted to AIP conference proceeding series (in process and normally SCOPUS indexed).

TREC-FTUI (Tropical Renewable Energy Center-Faculty of Engineering Universitas Indonesia) is proud to host the 3rd i-TREC (International Tropical Renewable Energy Conference) 2018 with this year’s theme of “Sustainable Development of Tropical Renewable Energy”. This year’s conference will be held on September 6-8, 2018 in Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel, Bali, Indonesia.

The 3rd i-TREC 2018 will cover various tropical renewable energy themes, inviting scientists along with academicians, young researchers, students, and also professionals from around the world to participate. This will be a golden opportunity for you to expose, present, and converge your research works to the experts. It will also serve and give rooms for academicians to be involved in research, education, and collaboration. This conference will be the opportunity to gather researchers, academicians, students and professionals from different fields who possess a global outlook of the latest progress in the renewable energy. This research is moving rapidly in several ways and involving investments from government and private sectors.

With comprehensive arrangement of keynote presentations, parallel sessions and poster sessions, the 3rd i-TREC 2018 will be the complete venue not only for disseminating the special tropical renewable energy topics, but also for increasing the scope of your experience and knowledge that are integrated with environmentally safe and economically sustainable innovation, as well as to create a theoretical base of the development, utilization, and implementation of the renewable energy for further applications.

The 1st i-TREC 2016 papers have been published in AIP Conference Proceeding Volume 1826 and International Journal of Technology Volume 7 Issue 8 (SE) 2016 (indexed by SCOPUS). The 2nd i-TREC 2017 papers have been published in IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science Volume 105 (indexed by SCOPUS).

Background

As a part of national education system, which has the objective to develop the intellectual life of the nation through human resources development by conducting three main activities known as tri dharma (three duties), Faculty of Engineering is also committed to continuously improve its academic activities in teaching and learning process, scientific research, and community services. This commitment would be also in line with the consideration of high demand to produce quality graduates and following current trends toward the global competition.

To achieve one of the three duties endowed by the national education system, especially in order to accelerate the advancement of technology and research in the field of biomedical engineering, integrated thinking of the researchers from various educational institutions and biomedical research is required. Currently, there have been various discoveries and or research in medical engineering areas from higher education and or research institutions, however the results are lacking of coordination that can be pinpoint to a specific direction. In order to accommodate this idea, a symposium is needed primarily to conduct discussions for positive collaboration with all biomedical researchers equally and mutually.

International Symposium on Biomedical Engineering (ISBE) would be an annual event initiated by the Center for Biomedical Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (RCBE UI). The event is organized in order to improve the communication of science, research, and technology among students, faculty, and researchers in Indonesia and abroad who study and or have career in the field of biomedical engineering. This International Symposium on Biomedical Engineering would be one of the ways to strengthen biomedical agenda in Indonesia with international relationship. The event will be held on 6 – 8 August, 2018 at Jakarta, Indonesia featuring many interested papers. Proceeding and selected papers will be planned to be submitted to reputable Proceeding Publisher (AIP) and internationally accredited journals in Biomedical Engineering, respectively.

Tentang SNTMT UI 2018

Seminar Nasional Teknologi dan Manajemen Teknologi (SNTMT) Universitas Indonesia 2018 diselenggarakan oleh Departemen Teknik Kimia, Fakultas Teknik Universitas Indonesia pada 10 Juli 2018 yang bertempat di Fakultas Teknik Universitas Indonesia. Dengan memfokuskan topik seminar pada Teknik Kimia, Teknologi Industri, Teknik Sipil dan Teknik Lingkungan, Teknik Elektro dan Teknologi Informatika, serta Manajemen Teknologi, diharapkan SNTMT UI 2018 dapat menjadi wadah untuk saling bertukar ilmu pengetahuan antar peserta dan memberikan kontribusi bagi masyarakat

IC-DAEM & SENAMM XI 2018

“Emerging the knowledge of materials design to achieve better materials integrity.“

 

International Conference on Design and Application of Engineering Materials (IC-DAEM) is the first international conference initiated by Materials Science and Engineering Research Group, Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia. It will be held in Bandung Indonesia on 7th – 8th September 2018 in conjunction with national seminar entitled “Seminar Nasional Metalurgi dan Material XI 2018 (SENAMM XI), which annually held by Badan Kerja Sama Pendidikan Metalurgi dan Teknik Material (BKPMM), Indonesian National organization on materials and metallurgical engineering education. The conference theme for the coming meeting is “Emerging the knowledge of materials design to achieve better materials integrity” and will be held as an honor for the retirement of Prof. Mardjono Siswosuwarno, which is considered as one of the pioneer in the field of failure analysis in Indonesia. Contribution in the field of materials design, development of synthesis and characterization method, experimental and computational work related to this topic, application aspect of engineering materials including materials degradation and failure analysis are among the topic conference.
